Entry requirements for your part-time degree
To be admitted to the non-selective Bachelor of Arts (BA) programme in Vocational Education for Nursing and Healthcare Professions, you will need either
- a general university entrance qualification or
- the Fachhochschulreife (please note regional restrictions) or
- a subject-specific university entrance qualification (in the field of health or similar).

You will also need:
- completed training in a nursing or healthcare profession (e.g. physiotherapy, geriatric care, nursing, midwifery, etc.) or a 46-week work placement in this field
- In every academic term that includes a practical module, you must provide evidence of corresponding teaching experience (or an internship) amounting to approximately 20–30 teaching hours.
- However: You do not have to start working as a teacher right from the beginning of your studies.
