Program Profile

The challenges facing modern logistics are becoming increasingly dynamic and complex. With us, you will acquire a comprehensive understanding of the requirements of today's supply chains and their current issues, which go significantly beyond general logistics expertise.

The Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.) in Logistics Management not only covers the important areas of procurement, production, distribution, disposal, packaging and hazardous goods logistics. It also bundles them into a compact offering that focuses on thinking in terms of processes, flows and networks.

In addition to excellent business fundamentals such as marketing, controlling and knowledge of cross-company logistics systems, soft and communication skills, a wide range of different management methods, the development of sound technical understanding, as well as labor and social law are integral components of the course. We also place special emphasis on the language training of students in the subject-related "Business English for Logistics Managers", with which we make you fit for global communication.

The study program includes a sound business education and deals intensively with the entrepreneurial challenges of the logistics industry. Another characteristic of the "Logistics Management" degree program at Dresden University of Applied Sciences is that it opens up a wide range of future career fields in the field of logistics for graduates with the two main focus areas of "Production Logistics" and "Transport Logistics".

For the admission to the NC-free study program Logistics Management Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) you need either

  • the general university entrance qualification or
  • the advanced technical college entrance qualification or
  • a subject-related university entrance qualification (in the field of business or similar).

In the part-time degree program, professional activity in the field relevant to the degree program is generally required. In each semester that includes a practical reflection module, a corresponding professional activity (or an internship) amounting to at least 30 hours per credit point of the practical reflection module must be proven.
