What is the Student Council?
The Student Council, StuRa for short, is the highest body of the student body at Dresden University of Applied Sciences, which represents the interests of all students at FHD externally. Our StuRa feels responsible for a wide range of tasks. These include representing the interests of students vis-à-vis lecturers and the university management, as well as organizing a wide range of events, such as Freshers' Week, Game Nights and our university cinema. It is also our aim to constantly improve student life and the student experience at the FHD.
We are responsible for the following tasks
- Representing student interests vis-à-vis the FHD committees
- Regular exchange with the university management
- Deciding on student matters
- organizing events to promote the student body
- student mobility
- Second point of contact for problems related to studying
