Project Description
The project addresses challenges in the real estate industry, characterized by high employee turnover and a large number of career changers, through the development of a digital learning solution. It focuses on creating a VR-based training environment to teach action-oriented and communication skills for apartment handovers as part of real estate clerk (Immobilienkaufmann/-frau) training and workplace-oriented online professional development.
Key Features of the VR Training Scenario:
-
The apartment to be inspected is represented in a 3D virtual model, accessible via mobile devices (smartphone, cardboard VR).
-
Participants conduct a virtual walkthrough, identifying and categorizing various apartment defects.
-
Communication training is embedded through role-playing exercises, where learners can alternate between tenant and landlord roles. Other participants can join remotely, enabling location-independent participation.
-
Perspective changes help improve communication and conflict-resolution skills.
Implementation in Professional Development:
-
For employees in real estate companies, the VR scenario is integrated into a training program to learn how to conduct legally compliant apartment handovers while improving communication skills.
-
The entire program is online and workplace-oriented, minimizing downtime.
Project Goal:
To combine immersive VR technology with practical learning, enabling learners to practice real-world tasks safely and flexibly, while strengthening both technical competencies and interpersonal skills in the real estate sector.
