Area(s) of Expertise: Digital Business & New Work
Partners: Fachkräfteallianz Sächsische Schweiz‐Osterzgebirge, DEHOGA e.V. Sachsen
Duration: 01.09.2022 until 31.12.2024
Project Manager: Prof. Dr. Marco Richter

The joint project "Scientific support in the context of the conception, planning, and marketing of the DEHOGA project "HoGa Junior staff: finding - retaining - networking"", which is carried out together with the project partner DEHOGA Sachsen e.V., aims to sustainably increase the attractiveness and media impact of hospitality industry training and job profiles, to promote the recruitment of skilled workers, to bring together interested parties and companies for joint activities and thus generally to jointly counteract the shortage of skilled workers in the district/region.

The Fachochschule Dresden - University of Applied Sciences Dresden (FHD) and the DEHOGA Sachsen e.V. would like to promote the contact between companies from the hotel and restaurant industry and potential skilled workers in order to secure the demand for skilled workers on the one hand and to offer professional perspectives to the following target groups on the other hand:

  • Young people as trainees and students
  • career changers
  • foreign potential employees.

For this purpose, the communication between these target groups and the companies should be accompanied in the long term and the organization of internships for interested parties should be moderated (bringing together demand).
