Project Description
DiBBLok focuses on investigating the success factors for the use of digital media in vocational education, with special emphasis on learning site cooperation between vocational schools, companies, and learners.
Digital media are explored as tools to:
Connect different learning locations
Establish a unified information base
Enhance communication among stakeholders
Facilitate reflection of learning content across contexts
The project combines qualitative and quantitative research methods to identify facilitating and inhibiting factors of digitalization at the level of management structures and processes.
Key considerations:
The prevailing management system within an educational institution shapes the framework for implementing digitally driven changes.
Management systems can act as either drivers or barriers to digitalization in vocational education.
The project also examines how digital tools for learning site cooperation (LoK) impact the overall digitalization of vocational training processes.
Goal: To provide evidence-based insights into how digital media can effectively support collaboration between vocational schools, companies, and learners, thereby improving the quality and efficiency of vocational education.
