Documentary: "Trischen"

Kinga Nagy, a graduate of the Digital Media Design programme, explored the protected island of Trischen through film in her bachelor’s thesis.

As the island is off-limits, she developed a creative approach to engage with the place from a distance – using, amongst other things, archive material, observations and interviews. The result is a striking portrait of a sensitive natural environment and its significance.

For her work, she was nominated for the Kurt Denzer Prize in the documentary film category.
