New collaborative project to develop a series of whisky labels as part of the Graphic Design: Screen & Print Media course at the FHD.

The “Whisky-Pur” collaboration project is launching as part of the Graphic Design degree programme

Looking for a striking design with high brand recognition

Thanks to a new partnership between Dresden University of Applied Sciences (FHD) and Robert Hahn, an exciting practical project is set to begin in the summer semester as part of the Graphic Design: Screen & Print Media degree programme. As part of the Intermedia Design module, our students will develop a series of whisky labels – from the initial concept to the finished bottle.

At the kick-off meeting, Prof. Mike Wolff, Head of the Graphic Design programme, and Robert Hahn jointly finalised the project details. The design parameters for the logo and labels were established. The aim is a striking design with a strong character and high recognition value.

Our Graphic Design students (GD24) have now also been officially briefed. To this end, Robert Hahn presented his project in person at the FHD.

Robert Hahn stellt den Studentinnen und Studenten des Studiengang Grafikdesign der FHD sein Whisky-Projekt vor.

The vision: a concept for an independent whisky brand that stands out, sets itself apart and works as a series.

Following the presentation, our students had plenty of time to ask questions about the product and its implementation. In the process, they also learnt how crucial it is to ask the right questions for a successful design process.

We are looking forward to the first ideas!
