An afternoon filled with emotions, memories and wonderful encounters: together, we look back on the 2026 Graduation Ceremony of Fachhochschule Dresden (FHD).
The festive evening was opened by our Rector, Dr. habil. Heike Zimmermann-Timm. This was followed by welcoming remarks from Prof. Dr. Heike Graßmann, State Secretary at the Saxon State Ministry for Science, Culture and Tourism (SMWK), as well as personal and ceremonial speeches by our professors and lecturers, who accompanied our graduates throughout their time at FHD. Jan Book from Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden and Konrad Skatula from the Association of Friends and Supporters of FHD (Verein der Freunde und Förderer der FHD e. V.) also addressed the graduates with personal words.
With ceremonial speeches, personal reflections from our graduates and proud faces during the presentation of degree certificates, the evening was a truly memorable occasion.
The ballroom of the mightyTwice Hotel provided an elegant setting and gave the celebration a special atmosphere. Afterwards, guests rounded off the evening together in the foyer, enjoying lively conversations.
