Our students in the Bachelor’s program in Tourism & Event Management explored this question during an exciting excursion to the wine region of Radebeul.
The excursion provided impressive insights into the connection between viticulture, tradition, and modern event design.
Our stops:
Schloss Wackerbarth
An inspiring guided tour with fascinating insights into event staging by Ms. Manuela Aumüller and Mr. Martin Junge.
Frédéric Fourée
Authentic impressions and valuable insider knowledge about viticulture and the unique characteristics of the region.
Weingut 3 Herren
Exciting perspectives from estate manager Ms. Amrei Niessen on the combination of winery operations and event concepts.
In addition to the professional insights, selected wine tastings were also part of the program, enriching the experience both intellectually and sensorially.
Conclusion:
Successful events at wineries are created through the interplay of history, atmosphere, and innovative experience design. This combination makes them extraordinary venues for events and an ideal field of study for our Tourism & Event Management program.
A special thank you goes to the participating wineries for their insightful impressions and their kind support during the excursion.
