As part of the course Crisis and Security Management, students of the Tourism & Event Management program gained exciting insights into the Heinz-Steyer-Stadium in Dresden on 15 June.
During an exclusive guided tour, event manager Tim Hoffmann not only presented the stadium’s diverse facilities but also provided practical insights into safety and evacuation concepts, project documentation for event organizers, and cooperation with security and public order authorities. The excursion was accompanied by Karla Großer. This allowed the students to experience the home of numerous sports clubs and the venue for a wide variety of events from a completely new perspective.
