Research Projects for Master and doctoral Students

Research implies the practice and development of science and interacts significantly with university teaching. The one conditions and promotes the other. Consequently, our mission statement clearly identifies research and teaching as the two supporting pillars of a university, which influence and benefit each other. In the close interweaving of teaching, training profile and applied research, Dresden University of Applied Sciences pursues the goal of constantly developing teaching and studies with a high degree of practical relevance and incorporating new findings from research and development.

Today's research and development is the basis for new methodological knowledge, pedagogical concepts and achievements of tomorrow. Research funding makes an essential contribution to this. Without third-party funding from the European Union, the federal and state governments, as well as contracts from industry and business, many research projects at our University of Applied Sciences would not be feasible. The Office for Research Promotion and Technology Transfer offers professors and lecturers a comprehensive range of services and advice on the topics of research and transfer.

With its research profile, Dresden University of Applied Sciences is oriented towards the social challenges of the future and places particular emphasis on social and technological change.
