1. university entrance qualification
For admission to the NC-free program Nursing & Healthcare Management Bachelor of Arts (B. A.), you must first prove that you have a university entrance qualification according to §18 SächsHSG. This means that you basically need either
- the general university entrance qualification
- the advanced technical college entrance qualification or
- a subject-related university entrance qualification (in the field of social work or similar).
If you do not have one of the above-mentioned qualifications, there are other ways of accessing higher education.
2. vocational training
For the part-time study Nursing and Healthcare Management a completed education in the following fields is additionally required:
- registered geriatric nurse,
- certified pediatric nurse or certified health care nurse
- registered nurse for health care and nursing.
Other training in the field of health care and nursing as well as therapeutic training can also be recognized in principle. This will be checked individually after receipt of the application. Due to the lump-sum recognition of the competences acquired in the vocational training, the duration of the study program is only 6 semesters (3 years).
3. professional activity
In addition, professional activity in the field relevant to the course of study is generally required. In each semester that includes a practical module, a corresponding professional activity (or an internship) amounting to at least 30 hours per credit point of the practical module must be proven.
