Master's students experience inspiring impulses at the 12th Saxon Innovation Conference

In mid-June, our Master's students from the "Leadership, Entrepreneurship & Innovation" and "Games & XR Management" programmes took part in the 12th Saxon Innovation Conference organised by futureSAX at Dresden Airport. They were supported by Professor Dr Peter Schmiedgen (Head of the Leadership, Entrepreneurship & Innovation programme), who explained the importance of the innovation ecosystem.

Various topics were covered by experts at the conference. "AI as a game changer for the economy" was presented by board member of the German AI Association Vanessa Cann discussed. "Decision-making courage as the basis for corporate growth and innovation culture" was the topic of Larissa Zeichhardt CEO of the LAT Group. Dr Julian de Grahl CEO of the Spread Group, talked about the transformation of his company "Spread Group: From printed T-shirt to international e-commerce platform".

In addition to the keynote speeches, workshops such as "Women in Tech: Connect 4 Success" offered helpful suggestions for own projects and professional careers. Students had the opportunity to make valuable contacts and expand their network at the stands of over 100 exhibiting companies, including the winners of the Saxon Start-up Award.
