Drawing meets dance: a creative exchange with Palucca University

Once again this year, the collaboration between Dresden University of Applied Sciences and the Palucca University of Dance Dresden proved to be a special creative highlight. At a joint meeting, students from the Graphic Design, Screen & Print Media course came together with dancers from the Palucca University of Dance to combine movement and design in a unique way.

Whilst the dancers brought dynamism, emotion and expressiveness to the stage, the graphic designers captured these impressions in drawings. Lines, shapes and colours became a visual translation of movement and atmosphere. The mutual insight into each other’s disciplines was particularly exciting.

Dresden University of Applied Sciences would like to extend its sincere thanks to everyone involved for their collaboration and is already looking forward to the next creative encounter.
